While many were still enjoying their Saturday morning rest, volunteers from SMV and Team TSB were already up early, preparing, packing, and getting everything ready for our beneficiaries living in the Jalan Kukoh rental blocks.
Today was about more than simply distributing groceries and meal support.
Our volunteers went door-to-door, personally visiting our elderly residents and low-income families, checking on their well-being, catching up with familiar faces, and spending a little time with each of them.
A very special thank you to Three Angels Trading Pte. Ltd. and Donovan Sim for adding a little extra joy to the day with groceries and treats for our beneficiaries. ❤️
To many of us, a packet of snacks or some additional groceries may seem like something small. But sometimes, it is these little extras that bring the biggest smiles, especially when they come together with a knock on the door, a familiar face, and someone asking:
“How have you been?”
That is what community is about.
It is not only about what we give.
It is about giving our time, showing up consistently, and reminding someone that they have not been forgotten.
Thank you to every donor who contributed, and to every volunteer who woke up early, carried bags from door to door, and gave your time and energy to make today’s outreach possible.
